Just a variation on Keep It Simple Stupid

My old boss used to use KISS, but he told us it meant Keep It Simple Stupid - maybe he was telling me something - although now I am the boss and I use it with my colleagues!

For the youngsters completely new to navigation we use -

Never Eat Shredded Wheat

Red Right Returning (When navigating between a red and green channel marker pair, keep the red marker to starboard when returning to the harbour from the sea.)
