I am a member of Hampshire Search and Rescue (HANTSAR), a voluntary organisation who assist the Police in searches for vulnerable missing persons.

I am going to run the London Marathon in aid of HANTSAR. The team does not receive any funding, instead relying on donations from members of the public.

P.S. When you make a donation, don't forget to check the Gift Aid box if you're a UK taxpayer as then your charity can claim an extra 25% from the government!

Hi all
Just had an amazing trip to scotland which involved spending a lot of time on Ben Nevis got a chance to use and play around a lot with my gps and traditional method map and compass which was great.Still never ceases to amaze me at the amount of really ill equiped and badly prepared people i see in the mountains, still really worth a visit if you have never been .

hi all
I am looking into the idea of starting a voluntary urban search team to assist any of the public services who might need assistance it is only a thought at the moment but would welcome any thoughts on this or constructive criticism.
many thanks
