Hello everyone
« on: December 06, 2012, 08:30:19 PM »
Hi all, I've only been walking for a couple of years and have got the bug........ I'm looking to expand my knowledge and hope to share my experience with all of you. I can already see that there are some great topics on the forum and look forward to reading through them.

Nice to have you on board....... I'll say sorry in advance - we sometimes might seem to get a bit Macho, or excited about Boyz toys occasionaly.

Remind us if we do!

Hello Claire and welcome to this forum, from a still freezing, yet beautiful, Lake District :)

Like the rest of us, once you have caught this bug it never goes away;) I often reflect that walking is an activity open to all and entirely free, learning to navigate properly makes it safe.

Welcome, Claire! A few weeks ago I was bemoaning the fact that there appeared to be no ladies on this forum. This makes you doubly welcome!

I note that you have only been walking for a couple of years, so I guess that you must be between three and four years old. Your reading and writing skills are truly remarkable for one so young!

It's snowing in the Chiltern Hills.
