I know that you are very knowledgeable about OS maps and have contacts with the organization, so it would be helpful if you would be kind enough to supply the source of your information.

I use Grough and Wheresthepath; will they be automatically updated as soon as updates are made to OS MasterMap?

WtP uses the OS map tile server, so changes to the OS online mapping ought to come through to WtP immediately.  I think Grough also uses licensed access to the OS map tile server.
