Hello - and Happy New Year to all from Edinburgh. I'm looking forward to improving my navigational abilities with advice from this forum both for my own use out in the mountains and to pass on in my role as a Scout leader.

Thanks to all. Oddly, given Lyle's comment, I am in the process of organizing a Discover Scuba session for my Scouts - perhaps we should plan on relocating it from local school pool to the Pentlands!
