Public right of way symbol on OS Explorer maps

I'd like to know the exact width of the symbol for public rights of way on Ordnance Survey 1:25,000 maps. Unfortunately, my eyesight is so poor these days (operation for cataract scheduled for next week) that I can't measure it accurately myself. I could ask the staff of the OS but I question them about so many matters that I don't want to overburden them.

A crude measurement:

Zooming in to some 1:25k mapping, I measure the 40mm grid as 140mm, and the width of a BOAT track as about 1mm

That gives the width of the track as 40 * 1/140 = 0.29mm

The edges of the track are a bit blurry at that zoom level...

I'd guess at 0.25mm, but the width does seem to vary, at least at the bit of map I'm looking at.

Thanks, CP, that's very interesting.

I'm guessing that if there is a variation in width this may be done occasionally in the interest of clarity. Would it be too much to ask for you to supply me with the width of the following public rights of way (PRoWs)

a footpath
a bridleway
a BOAT

based on the symbols depicted in the map key?
