Very interesting Adi.
Personally I am not keen on the SPOT, preferring a stand alone PLB.
Amazing photo of the ice field, my favourite climbs are on ice and this one looks full0on.

I was dead against the SPOT when they first came out but they have improved over the years. Still would want a PLB anywhere remote.

We bought the Mcmurdo, which Lyle uses to demonstrate PLB use in his video, a really small and lightweight item of kit and somehow very reassuring to carry.
