Hi all,

A superb forum and incredibly useful resource. I live in Scotland and love being out in the mountains a couple of times a week.

Hi Firebrand and welcome. You must spend every weekend in the mountains, are you a Munro-bagger?

Welcome to the MNF.

I've yet to find anywhere quite so knowledgeable and more crucially friendly.  Must be all the Scots! :-)

Ay up!

Welcome to the Forum. You will find everyone here friendly. They must be - they tolerate me!

Thanks to all of you for such a warm welcome :)

Hi Callum, I certainly am a Munro-bagger, although i've only got 35 or so under my belt (love to climb the same mountains numerous times as well as some Corbets).

I am usually out mid-week (am on a sabbatical from work). I am working towards my MLA Summer in October of this year.
